Welcome to Suffolk Owl Sanctuary
Suffolk Owl Sanctuary offers the opportunity to meet over 70 stunning owls and fascinating birds of prey from around the world. There are two flying displays daily, at 11.30 and 2.30 (weather permitting), and visitors are always welcome to chat with our friendly staff all about owls, meet our mob of cheeky meerkats during special talks at 11.00 and 2.00 daily, and visit some other special guests including the fascinating armadillos who have just joined us. For youngsters, a visit provides a chance to take the S.O.S. Safari trail, with a prize for them all. Admission is with a come-&-go ticket so you can visit the interesting shops and other attractions at Stonham Barns Park and return to us throughout the day as often as you wish.
Prices shown above include a 10% voluntary Gift Aid donation. This enables the charity to claim support from the Government for an extra 25p for every £1 spent under the scheme which goes towards the cost of maintaining our hospital for the care and conservation of injured wild owls and other birds of prey. Disabled visitors as above Concessionary prices apply to student card holders and visitors aged 65+. Carers are free of charge (please show validation) and children under 3 are free of charge.

Suffolk Owl Sanctuary is supported by voluntary donations and admission charges from members of the visiting public. We are WHOLLY RELIANT on this income for the upkeep of the Centre, the welfare of the birds and the funding of our many education and conservation projects and especially the rescue and rehabilitation of injured wild birds of prey. All monies collected are used only for this purpose.
If you would like a MEERKAT ENCOUNTER to be part of your visit to S.O.S. it is necessary to book your General Admission and Encounter pass at the same time. Please call us in advance on 03456 807 897/option 4 and we will make the bookings for you.
Stonham Barns Park is a great place to spend the day - there are numerous craft & gift shops, a garden centre, adventure golf, soft play barn and a café / bistro, plus plenty of free parking and many traffic-free areas.

PLEASE NOTE
Whilst the centre remains fully operational and your visit will not be inconvenienced, we are refurbishing some aviaries and enclosures for the benefit of birds and visitors alike.
As a precautionary measure to preserve the safety of both the birds and visiting canines, we regret that dogs are not allowed in the centre - this includes guide or assistance dogs.
All flying displays, exercising sessions and meerkat meets are weather permitting, and in inclement or exceptional conditions - for instance, extremely hot, wet or windy days - flying displays may be replaced by talks in the interests of the birds and animals in our care.
