S.O.S. Fundraiser: Silent Auction terms & conditions

Making a bid in the silent auction is absolutely free!
There is no entry fee and no purchase is necessary to enter the Silent Auction. No money will be taken throughout the process of making a bid, except from the winning bidder upon close of the auction.

What is a Silent Auction
During a silent auction, you can make a private bid for the item(s) in question on the form provided. Your bid is not disclosed to anyone else. At the predetermined end of the auction, the highest bidder wins the item.

When does the Silent Auction start and end?
This auction begins on 28th June 2020 and closes at midnight on July 12th 2020. After this date no further bids will be accepted.

How do you make a bid?
Simply complete the entry form with your contact details and the amount of your bid. No money will be taken throughout the process of making a bid.

Who can enter?
The competition is open to anyone aged 16 years or over on the date the bid is made. Employees of Suffolk Owl Sanctuary are precluded from making a bid in the Silent Auction

One entry per person.

By entering this competition, the entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.

What is the Silent Auction for?
Bids are for either of the two original water colour paintings. The amount pledged by the winning bidder will be donated to Suffolk Owl Sanctuary as the express wish of the artist, Joan Castell.

The winning bids
There will only be one winner for each of the paintings, this being the person who makes the highest bid.

The highest bidders will be notified by email within 14 days of the closing date.

The names of the highest bidders will be available 28 days after closing date by emailing info@owl-help.org.uk

The highest bidders agree to the use of their names in any publicity material. Any personal data relating to the winners or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation (GDPR) and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.
