The S.O.S. Raptor Hospital is central to our operations, providing a unique facility where injured, traumatised, emaciated, poisoned and sometimes shot wild birds can be brought for assurance of experienced care and attention. The cost of transport, medications, veterinary assistance, sometimes surgery and feeding them during often lengthy periods of recuperation prior to release back to the wild, fit and flying free, are a continual drain on our resources. Your donation, however small, will make a valuable contribution towards the running costs of our hospital.

Adopting one of our resident owls links you directly to the work of S.O.S. Adoptions can be for any amount you choose and donated as a single sum or set up as a monthly donation. We’ll send you a photo of the bird you have adopted plus a personalised Adoption Certificate, a VIP Pass to the Sanctuary, an enameled S.O.S. Pin Badge, and a copy of our booklet “Saving Britain’s Owls”. Adoptions can also be gifted to a nature-loving friend or family member and will help towards all aspects of running the Charity.

S.O.S. is in the process of regenerating a network of wild owl nest boxes in the region. Making a donation to this valuable resource will ensure that we can continue to run an effective scheme that helps boost the population of species like the Barn Owl and Tawny Owl by building and repairing man-made roosting sites to remain the naturals sites gradually being eroded by the encroach of man.

Many of our supporters already know that a visit to Suffolk Owl Sanctuary provides a wonderful and unusual nature-based experience. Home to over 80 owls and other birds of prey, many featured in spectacular flying displays, and with a mischievous mob of meerkats, plenty for the kids to do, a new indoor activity centre with special events planned and a great place to have a picnic. A Frequent Flyer Annual Membership Card to S.O.S. provides great entertainment and value for money all year round. The start date of every Membership Card purchased will not start until the day you collect it.
