This male sparrow hawk was admitted to our raptor hospital a few weeks ago.
He was found on the ground with facial injuries, and the bruising around his eye could be conducive with either impact injury or an attack from a predator.
After a week of box rest under the watchful eye of our experienced falconers, this youngster has since shown a massive improvement and is currently residing in one of our flight aviaries whilst the bruising recedes.
